In 2006 the chance arose to expand existing gardens into a neighbouring field and the business was born. It has developed from a passion (some say an obsession) for growing flowers, combined with the desire to provide a varied and sustainable alternative to mass-produced imported or hot-housed florists’ blooms. We are particularly known for many scented flowers and for unusual combinations of blooms and foliage.
Most of our flowers grow in blocks in mixed borders, and as we don’t use chemical controls the gardens are brimming with insects, bees and butterflies. The gardens are high and exposed, but our flowers are brought up tough and seem willing to cope with most conditions.
